Stuck in an aesthetic vacuum, professional designers got so hung-up on their perception of artistic value they neglected practical realities and marketing utility. Most web patrons pay us to seduce customers into choosing one product over another – its called “marketing.” It is a strategic pursuit aimed at enhancing the relationship between client and customer. Art, design, animation, video and sound have no marketing value if they don’t lube that deal.
